Shekerinska among the Macedonian soldiers in Cerklje barracks – joint exercises confirm the outstanding defence cooperation between Macedonia and Slovenia

This afternoon, Minister Radmila Sekerinska visited the Macedonian soldiers at Cerklje barracks in Slovenia, who are part of air defence training together with their Slovenian fellow colleagues.

The Minister also attended a presentation of air defence training aimed at strengthening the capabilities for planning and conducting air defence and improving the interoperability between the two armies.

“These exercises confirm the excellent cooperation in the defence sector between the two countries and strengthen our partnership” Shekerinska said expressing her satisfaction that Slovenian troops will be part of the joint exercise “Challenge 17″ at Krivolak Military Training Area in October together with members of the ARM. With this visit, Minister Shekerinska completed her two-day stay in Slovenia.
