Shekerinska në një takim me oficerë nga rotacioni i 7-të i ARM-së në komandën Veri në misionin “Resolute Support”

Six officers of the Army of the Republic of Macedonia, who will leave as part of the new rotation within the German contingent in the Train Advise Assist Command – North in the “Resolute Support” mission in Afghanistan, met today with the Minister of Defence, Radmila Shekerinska, and the Deputy Chief of General Staff of the ARM, Major General Muhamet Racaj.

“Your participation in the “Resolute Support” mission in Afghanistan is a double benefit for Macedonia – it shows our strong will to contribute to international peacekeeping missions, which strongly supports our ambition for NATO membership, but the participation also means a great experience for the Army of the Republic of Macedonia, which you will share with your colleagues”, the Minister said. She wished them a lot of success and happiness in fulfilling the tasks and added that Macedonia is analyzing the possibility of increased engagement in this mission.

General Racaj told the ARM officers to present the Army and Macedonia with dignity, just like thus far, to continue to carry out their tasks professionally and to return home alive and well to their families.
