Archbishop Stefan, the Archbishop of Ohrid and Macedonia, officiated with the official Easter liturgy, with attending members of the Holy Synod of Bishops and with the clergy of the Church of St. Clement of Ohrid, who in his epistle on the occasion of Easter, stressed that “now, when we have already discovered eternal life, let’s not be persistent in hatred and evil, but be constant in repentance and forgiveness, in restraint and patience. Let’s try to not be the cause of the temptation and to not blame the name of Christ for our deeds and actions. Let us pray in peace, but also to go out into the world with peace, for we could not truly rejoice if we still sin and if we are not reconciled with God. “

At the end of the Easter liturgy, the members of the Government delegation congratulated Easter to the Archbishop of Ohrid and Macedonia of the Macedonian Orthodox Church – Ohrid Archbishopric, Archbishop Stefan, as well as to the present priests and believers with the traditional Easter greeting “Christ is Risen – Truly, He is Risen”.
