Meeting of Minister Shekerinska in Croatia with the President of the Parliamentary Commission for Defence and lecture in the Croatian Military School

On the second day of her visit to Croatia, Defence Minister Radmila Shekerinska met with the Chairperson of the Defence Committee in the Croatian Parliament, Igor Dragovan, and delivered a lecture at the Croatian Military School.

On the meeting with Dragovan they discussed the position and role of legislative power in the defence system. “The Republic of Croatia is a sincere friend of the Republic of Macedonia who has always unselfishly supported us in our Euro-Atlantic aspirations. Macedonia is ready to implement all reforms, whereby the support from Croatia and all friendly countries is welcome”, Shekerinska noted.

At the Croatian Defence Academy “Dr. Franjo Tuđman”, the Minister delivered a lecture on the Euro-Atlantic integrations of Macedonia and the region, and also visited the members of the ARM who are studying in this higher military educational institution.

In addition to the other forms of cooperation, the defence cooperation between the Republic of Macedonia and the Republic of Croatia in the field of military education also includes training and education of ARM members in the higher military schools in Croatia (Command Staff School, School of National Defence and Senior NCO School).
